Northgate purchased Aiden in January of 2005 when he was ten months old. He came to us as the son of two Best in Show winning parents from Ridgewyn, a top show kennel on the West Coast. We purchased him not only to show, but to blend his top bloodlines into our own show lines here on the East Coast in anticipation of producing great offspring. Thus far, it appears to be working! At only 5 years of age, Aiden is already the sire of 4 AKC champions, with others rapidly nearing completion of their AKC championships. Four of his offspring had wins from the classes over specials. Aiden's champion daughter, Ch. Northgate's Time Will Tell, was Best of Breed over specials from the classes at the prestigious Kennel Club of Philadelphia benched show in November 2007 and was featured on network television representing English Springer Spaniels at the National Dog Show on Thanksgiving Day! Another daughter, Ch. Northgate's NautiGirl is now an all-breed Best in Show winner! Aiden's grandchildren, Shamus and Mindy, are also sharing in the winning! Aiden completed his championship very quickly by winning four majors, including a Specialty major at the Pittsburgh English Springer Spaniel Specialty, as well as winning the Supported Entry and Best Puppy at the Maryland Sporting Dog Association show, with all of his points coming from the 9-12 and 12-18 month class. We took Aiden to our ESSFTA National Specialty in Ohio when he was only 14 months old and he placed in both the Sweeps and Regular classes. He then went on to complete his championship at an all breed show the day after our National Specialty! Along the way to his championship, Aiden also earned his Canine Good Citizen title. Aiden was shown to his championship by Maurisa Payne and Howard Huber. Both of Aiden's parents are All Breed Best in Show Winners. His sire, American & Canadian Ch. Ridgewyn N Belvoir Uprising, has won all breed Best in Show awards in both the United States and Canada. In addition, he won Best of Breed at our ESSFTA National Specialty in 2002! Aiden's dam, Ch. Ridgewyn Incantation, is not only a multiple Sporting Group and all breed Best in Show Winner herself, but she was also Best in Sweepstakes, Best Puppy and Reserve Winners Bitch from the 6-9 Puppy Class at our 1997 ESSFTA National Specialty! Aiden's grandfather, Ch. Ridgewyn Legacy, was the Top Winning Specialty winner in our breed until the middle of this year when his record was finally broken. In addition to numerous all Breed Best in Show Awards, he also was Best of Breed at our ESSFTA National Specialty in 1996 and 1997! Aiden's grandfather - Ch.
